I am a poet/author born and raised in Spartanburg, SC. I have been writing since the age of 12 as a hobby but, as I grew older, I began to realize that it was much more than that. What started out as a 7th grade project turned into a place that I could go to vent, to release myself from the world. As I began to share my work, I found that other people because touched by my writings, so I made it my personal goal to have my voice heard. This quest began a few years back with a few poetry collections that I self published and then became even more real after I signed a contract with PublishAmerica last year to release my first official book of poetry.
